Best goo and slime recipe

Oskar has two weeks off school for the autumn holiday. Today we made the easiest goo and then slime recipe, courtesy of the 365 science activities book by Osbourne. We bought that last week while we were in London.

Couldn't be easier, believe me I've tried many recipes, but this one works great.

2 cups of cornflour - here in Germany they call it Kartoffelmehl (potato flour) and that's what I used.
1 cup of water with food colouring of your choice.

In a large bowl combine the flour and water and let your child mix the ingredients with their hands.
This becomes really gooey. To make the mixture more slimey
add more water slowly until you reach the right consistency.

We added some glitter as well to make it more fun.

This kept Oskar busy for a long time! Then we were off to the forest to play street hockey.
