Burg Eltz / Castle Eltz

On Sunday we visited the medieval castle of Eltz of which construction started prior to 1157.... Say what now?!!!!

It was truly remarkable and in tip top condition. Apparently It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago. Wow!
