However we also have Flash to think about in the mornings. Therefore we go on an early morning walk - at around 6:45 or 7 in the Stadtwald which is just around the corner thank God. I must say it works perfectly well with the boys as they wake up early and can't wait to get out. We call it the adventure and treasure walk as we always find something new to explore. Today we found chestnuts! Oskar placed 3 of them in a row and said "mommy this is the life cycle of the chestnut"! Excellent photo I thought to myself!
Dexie filled his pockets with over 20 chestnuts! He was ever so proud!
I love our morning walks more than anything! We have the whole forest to ourselves! What else can one ask for!
