The 3 elements

This week i introduced, to Dexie mainly, the 3 elements of Air, Land and Water... To make it a bit more fun for him i made 3 sensory bin. The Air bin consisted of dyed blue rice, a couple of airplanes and some clouds made out of cotton balls. For the land bin we went out to the park with our spades to collect soil, grass, little rocks and we even found a live worm. We then also planted some mung beans in a jar to see how they grow and how important the 3 elements are to life. Finally the water bin was the most fun of all! It was full of water beads which we coloured with blue food colouring and placed sea shells, a little boat, a sailor and some marine animals (fish, whale, dolphin etc). So easy to make and so much fun! What a blessing it is to have children!!!
