Prague castle

Sunday afternoon was spent walking through the stunning palace gardens and the castle complex itself. We also discovered the "golden lane".

The Golden Lane dates from the 15th Century and has a beautiful, olden world quaintness about it. It comprises 11 historic houses, inside which period scenes have been created to show the life of the artisans who once worked, ate, drank and slept in them.

We found a beautiful shop with Czech traditional handmade wooden toys. It was no surprise at all the boys chose wooden swords!!!!
