Yesterday the 8th of March we celebrated Felix's 40th birthday surrounded by his family at the best steak house in Cologne. The gaucho. Pablo, the Argentian owner who is now 70 something, opened the restaurant in Cologne 40 years ago. He was there, as he is every night, dressed in his poncho and hat. What a character! He even spoke some Greek and sang a short Greek song for me!
He has known Felix's parents ever since he opened his shop. In fact Felix's father had helped him finance the early days of the restaurant. Last night he told Felix: " If it wasn't for your father I wouldn't have this restaurant".
Happy birthday my love! 40 is only a number! A long as you stay young in your mind and heart you will always be 20 years old.
